HERE'S YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

At last week's club meeting, President Erva Denham's focus was to obtain participation commitments from Rotary II members for the various projects being worked on this Rotary year. The following letter is from President Erva.

Fellow Rotarians:

First, thanks to all of you who have already signed up to work with many of the committees and various projects scheduled for this year. As the schools open, our Interact and Adopted School activities will get started.

There are still many opportunities for service. Below is a listing of the major committees or projects which need a few good Rotarians to activate them, or to give the Chair some help.

Membership Development - Needs a Chair and members (Please contact Beris Lynch to sign up).

As a part of the Adopted School Program, the following activities need members/coordinators:

V.I. History Fair

CORE Book Parade

Teacher of the Year

Dictionary Project - Erva Denham, Chair - needs a few more members

Interact - Allan Tobin, Chair - needs at least one more committee member

Rotary International Foundation: Committee Chair Horace needs members for all the following:

Annual Giving/Paul Harris

Permanent Fund

Group Study Exchange: Simon Caines, Chair

Ambassadorial Scholarships

REACH - We need a listing of program hosts

Fellowship Activities: Needs a Chair and members

Program/Speakers' Bureau: Needs a co-chair and more members

Family of Rotary - Brim Ballentine, Chair - needs members

If you have not already signed up for a program/committee work, please do so soon. As you can see from the above listing, there are opportunities available here to serve our community, and just as importantly, our Club.
