Gift of Words Project was Great with District Governor!

It's hard to tell who benefitted the most at Rotary II's Gift of Words Dictionary Disturbution Program on Wednesday November 4, 2009: the students, the District governor or Rotarians.

Students, the District Governor and Rotarians had a wonderful morning at Lockhart Elementary School. Third graders at the school received their very own dictionaries complements of Rotary 's II Gift of Words project. DG Governor Errol and President-Elect Eric Baynes are pictured assisting students with their new dictionaries. Rotary II Literary Chair Erva encouraged students on the use of their new books. President Simon, VP Lorraine, Rtns. Cassi and Sinclair were are also assisting in this service project. ("The person who won't read is like the person who can't read.")
