From the Editor's Desk

As one of the former ENRICH coordinators, (Rotarian Michele Downes was the first), I am always happy for any of their achievements.

The ENRICH students were sponsored yearly by Rotary II. They were mentored by both of us, Michele through their Jr. high years, and, me basically from their 10th grade through their graduation from CAHS. In post graduation, I have been am no more than a phone call or an email away from them. So I beamed with pride as Alvin Nisbett brought his musical talent on the keyboard to our August Club entertainment meeting. Shanae Thompson, his guest (a senior at CAHS), and vocalist added youthful energy and talent that was so refreshing. Rotary II, I extend my appreciation to you for all you do in this community. Your being there for our young people is a precious key to our future. It makes me proud to be a Rotarian and a member of this club.
