Fellowship at Magens Bay..June 25, 2011

The last fellowship for 2010-2011 Rotary year is scheduled for June 25.  The committee is diligently planning the ‘ole time’ family picnic at Magens Bay on June 25, at Shed 2. PP Thraen is very excited about this project and will be contacting members re commitments to make this ‘last lap’ a huge success.  The menu has already been planned and we will need assistance with the procurement of items. 

The committee members to date are PP Thraen, PP Horace, Rotarians Ragster, Boaty, Jamil and Merle. 

Games such as marbles, tops, jacks, hopscotch(pudding), hoople, (old bicycle rim with a hanger for a guide), and hula hoop.

Menu…Red peas soup, daube (dove) pork, fried fish, stewed mutton, peas and rice, fried plantain,  johnny cakes, hot dogs, hamburgers.

Drinks: maubi, ginger beer, limeade, sodas, alcoholic beverages

Desserts: Mini tarts, jaw bone, and  sugar cakes
