BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATION

A MESSAGE FROM OUR VOCATIONAL SERVICES DIRECTOR

Our Vocational Service Director and Sergeant At Arms, Albert Richardson, was determined to kickoff Black History Month in a very significant way.   He organized a Black History sharing event on February 5th for several students at our adopted school, Addelita Cancryn Junior High School, to accomplish this. He gathered a small troop to include Toya Andrew, Krim Ballentine, and Charlotte B. Ramos who, along with Albert, spoke to several students about the importance of understanding why we celebrate Black History by profiling several significant icons. "I wish to sincerely thank those Rotarians for their participation."
