A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT ELECT

President Elect, Erva Denham, distributed a general member interest survey and an excel spreadsheet showing a typical Rotary year's budget.  She is requesting your participation to ensure that Rotary year 2007-2008 is a success.

"Please note that the budget is put together in two halves - Charitable and Operational.  For those of you who may be unfamiliar with the process, the Charitable budget's income comes from donations from the community - that is, our car raffle, other receipts and funding from the Rainbow Fund.
   
The operational budget's income is made up of what we pay into the club each year - dues, fines, raffles, auctions, birthday checks and fundraisers specificially for operations."

Copies of the survey will be distributed at our next meeting and can be returned to Rotarian Erva or you may email your comments to rotarian.erva@yahoo.com.
