On July 6, 2017, the Rotary Club of St. Thomas installed our new president, Paul Doumeng, and the 2017-2018 Board of Directors. It was a fantastic event with a lot of guests and visiting Rotarians.
Assistant Governor Marston Winkles talked about the new Rotary year and reminded us of Rotary International's and District 7020's themes for the year. Rotary International's 2017-2018 President Ian H.S. Risely's theme for the year is Rotary: Making a Difference. District 7020's theme, set by District Governor Robert Leger, is Grow Stronger-Serve Better. AG Winkles then swore in Paul Doumeng as our new president.
Newly inducted President Paul Doumeng then invited the incoming board members to come up and completed the induction with a swearing in of the board, followed by a champagne toast. President Doumeng also provided very inspiring remarks (see article below).
