Speaker: Andy Capdeville Topic: Alternative Dispute Resolution  Attorney Capdeville is a certified mediator and handles matters in both the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands and the Federal District Court of the Virgin Islands. Mr. Capdeville presented on Alternative Dispute Resolution. Most non-criminal cases in the VI go to mediation. Confidentiality is a major component of this process. There are highs and lows in the process. Typically first offers are not accepted. The process requires persistence and perspective. Depending on the case, mediation can be completed in a few hours up to several weeks or even months. | ||||
