What happened?

The  students get chipped trees from Aplundh for earth and mulch, and currently grow lettuce, beets, winged beans, turnips, spinach, okra, peppers, passion fruit, carrots, kale, squash (really BIG squash), bok choi, kalaloo bush, to name but a few.  They have traditionally terraced gardens, a bottle wall and Ugandan keyhole garden.  It's amazing to see how the fresh fruit and vegetables are incorporated into their culinary program, where with the help of Chef Lori Dudkin, they have made pastries and ice cream and are learning pickling and canning next.
