More than sixty Rotarians and friends gathered March 13th when Donald Sussman presented the club with a check for $72,000 to kick off a telemedicine connection from our clinic to The Cleveland Clinic. On hand were Governor John deJongh, Delegate Donna Christiansen, Rotary DG Rupert Ross, and representatives of the medical entities involved.

Through the efforts of PP Joan Bermingham and Administrator Harold Wallace, St John will have the first such facility in the USVI. Donald Sussman noted as he presented the check that we love St John because it is NEAR civilization, but not IN it. Nevertheless we need first class medical care and this will help make that happen.

The club made Donald a Paul Harris Fellow, with the award presented by DG Rupert. President BJ Harris presided, and efficiently kept the meeting to the prescribed hour in spite of all the distinguished speakers and guests.
