There are many members who have not yet contributed to the Rotary Foundation. Please send your check to PO Box 37, St. John, 00831 quickly so it can be counted this year.
We welcomed two new potential members on Wednesday, Alrick Thomas and Patricia Varlack. This week our schools are all having honors days and graduation celebrations—be sure to congratulate our students when you see them. Dr. Minner from Gifft Hill School is setting up the grow trays at Julius Sprauve School and with help from Alrick and our Interact members, we should all be treated to food this fall!
Saturday, three stalwart Rotarians cleaned Jumbie beach and the surrounding area. We filled five bags with trash, and found a serviceable pair of men’s briefs, if anyone is interested.
Wednesday June 24th will be our installation meeting, so we will forego a morning meeting and instead meet at Moonlight Serenade on Great Cruz Bay Road at 6:30 pm to install president Alecia and her dream team.
