Wednesday's meeting will have as the speaker Charmaine Alexander, one of my former students, now employed at the Department of Defense in Germany. She actually saw a Rotary meeting being conducted in Vienna. Needless to say, I am excited to have Charmaine speak to us! Please join us to thank Charmaine for her service and to welcome her home.
More good ideas and innovative thoughts on Rotary from the district conference: "corporate" clubs only meet every two weeks, have Interact members run a meeting, invite families to meetings and let them run them, swap presidents (!), run a meeting backwards...
Much discussion on how to make it interesting and how to retain and attract membership.
