Rotary Club of St. John distributed dictionaries to third grade students at JESS, Guy Benjamin School, St. John Christian Academy, and Gifft Hill School, as well as distributing story books and school supplies to first and second grade students at those four schools again this year.

Thanks to the volunteers who stepped up to the plate at the August 24th meeting to distribute the materials to the schools as they open. First graders received the book, "The Night Before First Grade", and second graders received the book, "The Best Seat in Second Grade." First and second graders also received spiral notebooks, markers, crayons, colored pencils, folders, glue sticks, pencils, and construction paper. Third graders received "A Student's Dictionary" in participation with the non-profit organization known as The Dictionary Project.
