A little quiz for our members - anyone that knows what all the acronyms stand for will get $10 worth of raffle tickets at our May 25th meeting.

Wanting to share the love and inspiration, we have made arrangements for some of the speakers to be guest speakers at our club meetings via Zoom.  You will not want to miss any of those meetings.

District Team Training Seminar(DTTS) and PETS were filled with great, useful information.  During DTTS we learned that the Area Coordinator positions will be enhanced through certification training coming up in June.  Public Relations will be sharing a number of documents to help all the clubs get their Rotary Story out. Currently there are area coordinators for the Foundation, membership, training, and public image.  Next year youth and service projects area coordinators will be added.

Information from the DTTS and Assembly:
  1.  Foundation Giving - Increase Annual Fund contributions to $300,000, 10% increase in Paul Harris society and Sustaining Members, 100 members in District using Rotary Direct, promote Benefactors and Bequest Society
   2.  Public Image - promote Rotarians as people of Action, unified look, Rotary Doing Good in our Second Century, Essence Statement coming out in June and PR Toolkit in July
   3.  Membership - number one internal priority, use RI membership materials, evaluate club, be open to making changes, be flexible, get perspective from guests, track potential new members, atmosphere is everything, engage alumni
   4.  Service Projects - Envision, Promote, Plan, Implement and Report, promote international projects, build relationships with other districts
   5.  Youth Services - part of the Rotary Superhighway, quarterly virtual reality meetings
EarlyAct - establish EarlyAct month. create budget item for pins badges, etc.
Interact - collect and analyse data from current clubs on member satisfaction, reconnect sponsoring Rotary Clubs with Interact clubs
Rotaract - do PETS for Interact clubs, be involved with RYLA.
   6.  Training and Club Support - Zoom based DTTS and PETS pre-training, annual minimum basic training, promote RLI.

We'll have more information from our guest speakers in the coming months.
