World Affairs Seminar report

JULY 9, 2009 - The four kids we sponsored to attend the annual World Affairs seminar in Wisconsin paid our club a visit this week. They reported in great detail and excitement about their experiences at this outstanding event. The theme of this year's event was hunger and the high schoolers learned a great bit about the challenges our world faces in this regard. Plus, they had a chance to meet other kids from all over the world and share their culture and learn about how their peers live. They delivered excellent reports to the club and are obviously fine representatives of TCI (and hopefully, future Rotarians!) Special thanks to RoY Joy for chaperoning the kids and for Yvette for heading up this project.
