It is only fitting that this month's Rotary theme, Membership and Extensions, falls on the heels of our new District Governor's visit. Dr. Patrick Adizua's message to the district highlights the importance and significance of sharing your love for Rotary, to entice a new generation of Rotarians to come forward.
"If we want to see another century of Rotary, we must make Rotary attractive to young people. Many young people share our beliefs. To get them involved in Rotary, we must concentrate on activities that capture their attention, so they are willing to make a commitment. It is not the responsibility of young people to come to our clubs. It is ours to invite them."
Rotary Sunrise is proud to sponsor the Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman, who DG Patrick had the pleasure of spending time with during his visit. DG Patrick stated in his District Address, that "We are leaning heavily on empowering our young generation."
With that, Rotary Sunrise is challenging each and every member to get to know one of our Rotaractors over the next month. We also encourage members to invite at least one person to our meetings over the month, and show you love for Rotary.
