Take a Kid Fishing

Central's Annual Take a Kid Fishing programme was held on Sunday 25th May 2008
Take a Kid Fishing encourages children between the ages of 6 and 12 to participate in a fun filled day of fishing, boating and fun.
Boats, tackle, bait, supervision and snacks were provided by Rotary Central volunteers along with buses to transport the children.
This is one of the signature events of Rotary Cetnral and this Free event is publicized through all of the local schools leading up to the event. Over 80 children participated this year, each one was provided with a T-shirt and had their own line. Everyone 'had a bite' at some time during the day.
Great thanks to all those who dontated their time and equipment to the event and to the general public for their continued support throughout the year, as their donations help to make this event happen.
