RYLA Students"Clap" the House Down!
Tuesday August 16th Rotary Central was taught the "Power Clap" by the 4 RYLA Students that presented to our club about their experience in St. Augustine Florida. Max, Juzan, Josie, and Alonzo elaborated on the leadership seminars and community service project they participated in while attending the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.
Speakers spoke on a number of subjects including the 7 habits of an effective teen, business etiquette, and knowing your personality type. The Cayman Islands students were able to network with a number of students from the northern part of Florida and got some great ideas as they move on to their college and university experience.
The enthusiasm expressed by these 4 students was refreshing and we look forward to working with them as they form an interact club this fall. A BIG thanks Rotarian Martin for chaperoning this group.
