Rotary Literacy Month

Rotary Central Literacy Month culminated last week with volunteers from the club and from their sponsor, Deutsch Bank, reading to children across the school system. Pictured here are volunteers at North Side Primary School where the children were read stories before being presented with their own individual copies of the book "Chicken said "Cluck!"" by Judyann Ackerman Grant. Promoting literacy and learning is a major priority within the Education Department and these activities contribute to this important goal.
