The Rotary International’s theme for the 2014-2015 Rotary Year is; “Light up Rotary”. Rotary International President-elect Gary C.K. Huang chose Light Up Rotary as his theme for 2014-15. Huang was inspired by the teachings of Chinese philosopher Confucius who said: "It is better to light a single candle, than to sit and curse the darkness." "The Rotary way is the Confucius way. The Rotary way is to light a candle. I light one, you light one, 1.2 million Rotarians light one. Together, we light up the world," said Huang. In keeping with this year’s theme President Larry has chosen as the Club’s motto; “Our Projects, Our Rotarians” will focus on highlighting our Projects and engaging and recognizing our Rotarians.
