ROTARY CENTRAL RECOGNIZES LIBRARIANS
The second of its kind reception recognizing librarians around the Cayman Islands, was recently organized by Rotary Central on 21 June, 2012. The event held at the George Town Library, awarded Librarians for their commitment and efforts in the Cayman Islands community for the year.
President of Rotary Central, Fiona Moseley in presenting each librarian with a plaque recognizing their contribution, expressed thanks and appreciation for the time these committed librarians take and the inspiration that they give to our children by building in them a passion to read.
Also present at the event was Rotary Central Literacy Chair, Ms. Sandy McFarlane as well AS Rotarians, Mr. Larry Tibbetts, Mr. Ravi Kapoor, Ms. Sandy Cram, and Ms. April Lewis.
Rotary President also praised Rotary Central’s Literacy Committee for their efforts and singled our Rotarian Larry Tibbetts who heads up the the Vocational Service programme.
