Librarian Recognition Awards

The Literacy Committee wanted to thank and recognise the countries librarians at a special award ceremony. Each librarian, representing the public libraries, school libraries and college libraries was presented with a plaque recognising the great work they do in promoting literacy on the islands. A welcome and thanks were given by President Paul and Rotarian Sandy McFarlane assisted him in presenting the plaques. Minister for Education, Hon. Rolston Anglin also attended the event and extended his appreciation to the librarians. Well done Rot. Sandy Cram and Rot. Carol Jurchison for all their hard work in getting this event arranged.
