The Fred Speirs Memorial Interschool Debate final was held on Wednesday April 10th at the Georgetown courthouse.  The Moot being ‘The declaration of specific Jobs and Businesses which should be reserved for Caymanians only is better than a system of market-driven free enterprise capitalism.” In a wonderful and very close debate with passionate and rousing arguments from students representing Cayman International School, the proposers, and John Gray High School, the Opposers, CIS pulled off a win over JGHS.
