The Debate Final was held on April 14th at 6:30pm at the Court House.
Moot: Unarmed police officers are poorly equipped to deal with today's escalating violent crime
Proposing team: Cayman Prep
Opposing Team: Cayman Brac (B)
Winner: Cayman Brac (B)
The debate was very lively and well fought by both teams. The judges were very complimentary of the teams and gave them both some advice for future debates were mostly positive on the level of research and delivery from both schools.
Our own PP. Mario was MC for the evening and did a fantastic job as usual. Other Rotarians who was present were – PP. Dave Phipps, Rot. Paul Keeble, Rot. Carol, Rot. Francine and Dir Larry.
