Charter Night 2009

The event was held at the Lighthouse and was attended by about 70 people, including AG Ray Whittaker. As well as a lovely meal, there were various awards made and speeches given. Congratulations to PP Altee Thompson and PP Dave Phipps who are both now Diamond Paul Harris Fellows. The evening included a silent auction of PP Fred's collection of Malt Whiskies, and the odd bottle of rum, the proceeds of which amounted to around $1100 which will be given to the Rotary FOundation in PP Fred's name. Many thanks to all who attended and made the evening such a success.
