Central helps George Town Primary School

The soccer field at George Town Primary School has recently been relaid. Premier League soccer matches are now held there every Sunday afternoon, bringing with them their litter problems. Children arrive at school on Monday mornings to find part of their campus littered with the remains of uneaten food.

School Principal, Marie Martin, ordered six wooden containers to hold large garbage bins. On Saturday morning, Rotarians Dave Phipps, Carol Jurchison, Mike Pratt and Fred Speirs installed six garbage bin receptacles along the perimeter fence of the soccer field.

As Marie Martin says, "When I want something done, I know I can always ask Rotary Central."
