Bus Shelter Work Party Saturday 10 April 2010

We had a great turnout of 7 rotarians at the bus shelter effort today. Little do we know it but the success of our club is attracting international interest! Former club member Ken Guiste travelled from the BVI just to attend this work party! We installed 14 rear advertizing panels in bus shelters in prime locations. Once these spaces are rented this initiative should add to club fundraising. Many thanks to Rotarians Sandy, Carol, Nikki, Paul, Todd, and Ken who came out today. Thanks to Todd for the use of his truck; to Sandy for the great muffins; and as alway to P.P. Altee for the use of his property to stage the shelter parts. The next shelter work party will be to repair the two damaged shelters with the parts we now have. Dir Greg.
