Director Larry submitted an awesome report for March's Club of the Month which was focussed on the emphases set by the District and RI - Literacy, Health and the Environment. Dir. Larry has passed on his thanks to all Rotary Central Members who have helped in any way with the projects that he highlighted...and particular thanks to the members of his committee who took the lead to make sure the projects were completed. The report included all our activities related to literacy including the CIRA, library visits for school children and story time on a Saturday morning and EarlyActs support for struggling readers in their school; our health projects which included the highly successful Diabetes Screening and the Science fair; and mention was also made of the excellent speaker, Courtney Platt, who presented at the Sciencs Fair banquet and also the Success Circle joint project with Rotaract Blue. Well done everyone! What a fabulous way to end the Club of the Month initiative - with a presentation to be made at the District Conference!
