Working with the Ministry for Home Affairs, the Department for Community Rehabilitation and Her Majesty's Cayman Islands Prison service, Rotary Central is trying to help hard-working individuals who are re-entering society in our various communities to do so as smoothly as possible, with as much education, job preparation and support to continue to develop the self esteem to truly become a part of the wider community again, adding benefit to themselves and the wider community by again becoming contributing citizens.
Rotary Central of the Cayman Islands has - enhanced its Community Service involvement through assistance to persons re-entering society by working with the Director of HMCI Prison Service, Mr. Steve Barrett; Deputy Chief Officer (Actg)-Ministry for Home Affairs, Ms. Lisa Malice; Ms. Melisa Rivas, Director of the Dept. for Community Rehabilitation (Actg.) and Deputy Director (Actg.), Ms. Erica Ebanks, to assist with a program which helps citizens re-integrate into society through education; job training and living assistance.

Rotary Central has confirmed that Rotary Central has recently contributed to the National Disaster relief Fund and that during the next month alone, the Community Service avenue of the service club is making signaificant contributions to (i) the National Drug Council/Compass Media “Arrive Alive 345” campaign; (ii) the Cayman Islands [Family]Crisis Centre; (iii) its Housing Assistance program; and (v) a new Bicycles project for kids among other very worthy causes.
