Clubs of the BVI to send first $75,000 to Haiti

ADG Vance Lewis, the chairman for the Haiti Relief Efforts of the Rotary Clubs of the BVI announced in the joint meeting marking the 105th anniversary of Rotary, that the first remittance of funds raised for Haiti , will be sent. The amount to be sent is seventy-five ($75,000.00).
ADG Vance Lewis, the chairman for the Haiti Relief Efforts of the Rotary Clubs of the BVI announced in the joint meeting marking the 105th anniversary of Rotary, that the first remittance of funds raised for Haiti , will be sent. The amount to be sent is United States Seventy-five Thousand Dollars($75,000.00). ADG Vance thanked all Rotarians who actively partcipated in the relief efforts, which gave rise to the Rotary Clubs of the BVI raising funds in excess of United Stated Two Hundred Thousand Dollars. In addition to what we [in the BVI] raised, ADG Vance conveyed past District Governor's news that the clubs combined in the district was able to secure funds of approximately Six Hundred Thousand ($600,000.00) united stated dollars for disaster relief.
