Rotary Club of Tortola believes in supporting our Community in words and in action. We pride ourselves in taking care of our surroundings. We take part in neighborhood clean-up because we know that a clean environment that includes clean air, water, land and energy is essential for human existence, conducting business and creating wealth.
During Economic and Community Development Month, let us put unwanted matter in its proper place.
The Club partnered with The Premier's Office and Establishing Flood Resilient SMART Communities through NGO Partnerships Project and cleaned up the eastern end of Tortola. One of the simplest and easiest way to protect the environment is to ensure you dispose of rubbish in the proper way. Littering is not only detrimental to the ecosystem, it also ruins the overall presentation of all Communities.
