Service learning and leadership training helps youth develop deep understanding of the service combination with leadership skill building. The Rotary Club of Tortola participated in the Rotaract Youth Training Seminar because we strongly believe that through training, young people learn what it means to plan and execute projects that are impactful for the community and their development.

The training was mostly geared towards focusing youth energies on positive activities, leading to increased self-efficacy and the development of skills relevant to success in adulthood and working well with others. As Rotarians, we know that it is vital to set good examples for those in our youth arms. We provide the necessary coaching to help build confidence and wisdom.
