We are deeply saddened by the news of Rotarian Alvin “Big Brother” Pickering’s passing yesterday due to complications from drowning.
He was a true Rotarian who attended meetings every week until he fell ill a few weeks ago. It was such a joy to see him last week Thursday at our luncheon meeting with his daughter. We will miss him dearly, his interaction and his great smile. The Rotary Club of Tortola extends sincere condolences to his wife Ms. Enid, his children and the entire family.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
