During our weekly meeting (February 17th) four of the club's distinguished Rotarians were rewarded with Paul Harris Fellows. Distributing the awards to the awardees were PDG Delma Maduro
Rtn Samatha was awarded her first PHF. She received a Paul Harris pin and a certificate.
President Nominee and Director Kelvin was awarded a PHF+1
Rtn. Christopher was awarded a PHF +2
and Director Abby received a PHF+3
The Paul Harris Fellow recognition is the highest honour to receive from Rotary. It acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation. Rotary established the recognition in 1957 to encourage and show appreciation for substantial contributions to what was then the Foundation’s only program, Rotary Foundation Fellowships for Advanced Study, the precursor to Ambassadorial Scholarships.
