On Saturday, April 25, memebers of the Rotary Club of Tortola began a project to clean up the yard of a single mom living in Huntum's Ghut. (Photo: Rtn. Mike Pringle battles weeds with a machete)

Rotarians, including Director Chris Ghiorse, President Percy Rhoden, and members Julian Smith and Mike Pringle, cut back overgrown trees and yanked up vines. They also tore down a dilapidated wooden structure.

The debris was trucked away in massive 20-yard truck.

The house belongs to a single mother of two children who sought help from the Club to get her home in better shape. Work will continue May 9th.
