BVI Public receives Thanks from District 7020

The BVI Public receives extraordinary "thank you" from the Rotary Family of District 7020.

Dear Assistant District Governor Vance,

We are very proud of your Rotarians and the people of the British Virgin Islands who not only raised funds and send supplies, but some of your Citizens went to Haiti to provide humanitarian relief; a truly selfless act of Service Above Self.

Your support for the Haiti earthquake relief efforts has been outstanding and has been appreciated by the Rotarians in our District in general and the people of Haiti in particular.

Congratulations on a truly magnificent effort.

Thank you so much for all your efforts and the Rotarians of BVI and the community of BVI. Your support for the Haiti Earthquake relief efforts has been monumental and has made a significant difference to the people in Haiti.

You should be very proud as a community of not only the funds raised and the supplies sent but also the Rotarians and Non-Rotarians who spent many hours flying materials to Haiti or packing up the supplies or performing the multitude of tasks it takes for a relief effort of this kind.
