Reading Time at Willard Patton Pre-School

During 2012 - 2013 the Rotary Club of Nassau Sunrise launched Reading Time at Willard Patton Pre-School in an effort to enhance its Literacy Program. Reading Time occurs every Friday at 12pm and provides members of the Club with an opportunity to not only read to the students but to mentor them.
During the month of May District Governor Vance Lewis and AG Stan got a first hand experience of the program as they read to the students. Commenting on the program AG Stan stated, "Reading Time was truly an emotional experience for me as I was amazed to see how excited the children were to hear me reading." He also encouraged members of the Club to continue to support the program as it is having a great impact on the students.
