The present government has appointed two committees to deal with the issue:- An Advisory Committee headed by Minister Laing and a Negotiating Committee headed by T.B.Donaldson. Negotiations are underway with Bluewater Communications Holdings during the exclusivity period and must be concluded to determine whether their offer will be accepted. Members of the BTC Union were also appointed to the privatization committee to be a part of the process.
