Ms Universe Pagent all set to go

It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for the Bahamas to play host to the Ms. Universe pagent according to Janet Johnson.
The Ms. Universe Pagent will be held on August 23rd at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise island. However, there will be numerous events held throughout the islands of the Bahamas leading up to that day. The Ministry of Tourism has launched a sweepstakes and various P.R. exercises to promote the event. There will be 6 competitions centered around the event.
1) King and Queen of the Universe.
2) Building Blocks of the Universe.
3) Princess of the Universe.
4) Universal makeover in conjunction with Windamere Spa.
5) Ms. University - for potential models, etc.
6) Best little island in the universe.
The swimsuit competition will be held at Our Lucaya in Freeport, G.B.
10th - motorcade from Arawak Cay to Cable Beach.
12th - Bahamian Designer Fashion Show featuring Androsia and Batik fabrics being worn by the contestants.
State Gift Auction - all of the contestants are required to bring a cultural gift which will be auctioned off.
16th - Presentation Show at Atlantis.
23rd - Viewing party at Atlantis - pagent can be watched via major television screens being set up at the property.
23rd - Final night event - after party and Coronation Ball.
