For the third year in a row the Rotary Club of Nassau Sunrise continued its program to maintain the Little Free Libraries in public spaces. Launched in 2019, the Little Free Libraries is a program designed the Brighter Bahamas Foundation with a goal of increasing literacy in The Bahamas by the placement of over 100 public free libraries in public spaces. These libraries, provide access to reading materials for hundreds of persons each year.

This year, on Saturday 25 September, 2021, the Rotary Club of Nassau Sunrise, in conjunction with the Rotaract Club of Nassau Sunset of the Interact of Government High School participated in a restoration and maintenance of 12 Little Libraries around the island of New Providence. During the first of what is planned as a series of ongoing exercises, 24 persons participated in first maintenance exercise of the Rotary fiscal year with ongoing restocking to proceed over the upcoming weeks.
