Thanks to the hardworking and industrious team of Tanya, Monique and
Gabriella, the Nassau Sunrise's Literacy Program - KID-N-MOTION, was a
huge success. Assisted by volunteers from Junior Achievement, Sigma Gamma Rho, COB, and other "Friends of Rotary", the event hosted more than 350 kids mostly from the Bain Town and Oaks Field area.
Lead organizer Rotarian Tanya Woodside was very pleased with the turn out and looks forward to an even larger event. Many attending parents and teachers from neighboring schools were also thankful for the event as it involved both learning and wholesome family events, not to mention the free food and goodies provided by sponsors and the Rotary Club of Nassay Sunrise.
