It is very rare that one gets an opportunity to meet an extraordinary modern-day  Samaritan.  (Kolamae Pedican receives well wishes from Ethan Quant)

Kolamae Pedican's story could be dubbed a riches to rags one with a "happy" ending. She and her four children enjoyed a very comfortable lifestyle during the early years of her Banking career until she lost her job. She said that the survival challenges were heart-wrenching for them as they had to resort to a lifestyle of  poverty.  However, in the face of economic adversity, Kolamae managed to provide the essentials of life for her family.  From second hand clothing to leftover food, Kolamae did what it took to keep her family alive. She said that the lifestyle transformation eventually made her realize the value of internal self-worth. Unfortunately, she said that her children did not immediately place the experience into proper perspective as initially they had pointed the blame on her for exposing them to a life of hardship.

As faith would have it, eventually, Kolamae got back on her feet in a more meaningful way. She is now an Administrator at the Urban Renewal Center in Kemp Road where she is impacting hundreds of lives by ensuring that they are provided with the essentials of life that matter.  She invites you to join her!
