Bahamas Against Crime has been launched to address the vexing problem of crime in our society.

Rev. C.B. Moss was the guest speaker on Sept. 18, 2008. He spoke on a most timely topic - CRIME. According to Rev. Moss, "Crime and violence is spiraling out of control in the Bahamas. Bahamas Against Crime has been launched to address this vexing issue in our society. He said that the enemy is in our homes, schools, churches and within us. The objectives of Bahamas Against Crime is to create a change in the mindset of individuals because we are all contributors in some way or another. Crime is fueled by a number of problems including poor parenting, poor education, unemployment, underemployment, helplessness, hopelessness, etc. All citizens of this country must get involved in the fight. People will respond once their voices are heard and they don't feel marginalized. Crime affects us all! Therefore, it's imperative that we all join in the fight to reclaim our communities and affect crime.
