The guest speaker was Mr. Robert Sands of Baha Mar (see cover). Baha Mar will feature five upscale hotels, a 100,000 sq. ft casino, an 18-hole signature golf course, meeting facilities and spas...
It will be The Bahamas' largest resort, spreading across 1000 acres of oceanfront property in Cable Beach. Mr. Sands spoke of the developmental changes to be made to the area, including a new road corridor, and of the many entrepreneurial opportunities open to Bahamians. The project will take off in 2007.
