In just it's second year, the 2008 Rotary Reading Fair attracted some 673 students once again exceeding Club expectations!

The high student count was also matched by new partnerships and a significantly larger volunteer base.

In addition to the College of the Bahamas who joined Nassau Sunrise in this effort for a second consecutive year, other partners included Nassau's only all-women Kiwanis Club, TimeWorks the Lyford Cay Foundation's volunteer programme, Read Bahamas and BGC Freedom.

BGC Freedom donated four brand new personal computers to the school with the highest student representation at the fair. With more than 250 participating students Albury Sayles Primary School was the winning institution.

Accompanying the large Albury Sayles' student contingent, were the school's Principal, Vice-Principal, other administrators, most of the school's teachers and a host of Albury Sayle parents.

It was a great day of family fellowship. For more, check out the images in the Fair's photo journal on the main page of this website.
