Matt Gonser is the Chief Resilience officer and Executive Director of the City and County of Honolulu Office of Climate Change, Sustainability, and Resiliency (Resilience Office). The Resilience Office ensures that our local government does its part to combat climate change by increasing the sustainability of City operations and working with communities to create a more resilient island home.
Hailey Campbell is a Climate Adaptation Specialist with the Resilience Office. She is helping create the City's first climate adaptation strategy, Climate Ready Oahu, to prepare Oahu communities to thrive in the face of climate impacts.
Come learn about the city's climate adaptation efforts and discuss the role grassroots organizations like Rotary can play in supporting the city's climate response.
This meeting will be Potluck style, so if possible, bring drinks or snacks for people attending!
