This week we Bernadette Siracky from the Kamloops Food Bank as our speaker.  As you know, the Rotray Food Drive benefiting the Kamloops Food Bank has become a main service opportunity for all the Rotary clubs in Kamloops.

Operation Red Nose

Last week we had Katie Klassen and Constable  George Buttles speaking about Operation Red Nose. They handed out volunteer forms for this season of Operation Red Nose.  As usual, our club as risen to the occasion and we have a few volunteers going as a group on Friday December 5th.  So far we have: Sukh Gill, Ed Ratuski, Carolyn Black, Maryanne Bower.  Please remember you do need o fil out a volunteer form and take it in to the RCMP for a criminal record check.

Student of the Month

We also had  our student of the month presentation. Sally Zaryd, principal at Aberdeen Elementary introduced Tatiana Mueller, an Aberdeen grade 7 student. Some of you may have met Tatiana before as she is Dorys' daughter. Tatiana spoke about her involvement at school and community sports.

Pit Stop

Another great Pit Stop dinner was served Sunday, November 23rd by our volunteers.  Thank you all who came to help, about 180 meals were served. Thank you Aurora! Thank you Sherry for your leadership in this project!

Santa Claus Parade
