November 18th meeting

This week's meeting program

Katie Klassen and  Cst George Buttles will be our guest speakers this week. They are coming to talk to us about Operation Red Nose. They will provide us with information about the program and will have volunteer forms.  We will also have our Student of the Month from Aberdeen Elementary.

Rotary Event

The West Club is hosting a Fashion Show on Thursday, November 20th at the Double Tree Hotel at 7pm. Tickets are $25 and available at Genesis or Kim Cooper.  Let's support this event!

Pit Stop - Sunday November 23rd

 We are still looking for a few more volunteers for the late shift (3-5 ish?)  at Pit Stop next Sunday, November 23rd.  Sherry M and Nandi S are leading this Pit Stop.   So far we have the following members volunteering:

Early shift: Donna Gibson, Kristen Hamilton (+1), Reg and Barb Lucas, Katelyn and Kristen Zubak, Sally and Steve Wanless(+1) and Nandi Spolia.

Late Shift: Janis, Sam and Rav Dhaliwal, Dorys Crespin-Mueller (+3),  Ed and Inge Ratuski, Carolyn Black.

This is a great opportunity to invite friends to join you in service to our community. 

Jim Bogardis

Jim Bogardis is recuperating well from his recent surgery and sends his regards and appreciation to the club for the Get Well card we sent him.  Jim hopes to be back to the weekly meetings soon. 

Kathleen Kurpuk

Congratulations to Kathleen in being re-elected as School Board Trustee in this weekend's election.

Club AGM & Next Year Executive Board

December 2nd will be a club assembly meeting. This will be our annual AGM.  The executive for next Rotary year (July 2015-June 2016) is elected at the AGM.  If you are interested in getting involved in club administration as part of next year's executive, please contact Mike Dedels.
