PRESENTATION:  Katie talked about her amazing year in Austria!  2 host families and balls galore; friends and laughter:  she had a great year!  Her DVD of the highlights will be posted on the website within the next couple of weeks.  Welcome home, Katie.  Have another wonderful year at SFU . . . and visit us when you come home.

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

MURAL on Women's Shelter:  Dick Lewis announced that each Rotary Club has a section of wall that will be enclosing the Women's Shelter.  Sometime in Sept we should have a decision regarding what we want to see painted on the wall.  Email ideas to DawnAMacKenzie@gmail.com

MEGA HOCKEY POOL:  Tickets by September 1, 2008.Mike reports everything is ready to go; waiting on printing.  NORTH SHORE drop site needed!  Please contact Mike if you know of a business that would like to participate by collecting entries and fees - mcdedels@shaw.ca

ADOPT-A-ROAD:  Thursday, Sept 11 at 5pm.  Meet at the Place Inn.  Bring your kids!

PRINTING:  Menzies will be printing the TICKETS, POSTERS, BOOKLETS

GROUP STUDY EXHANGE COMMITTEE:  Reg is looking for committee members to plan activities for GSE in spring 2009.   FMI: sunguide@yahoo.com
