Gaming Funds Recipients
North Kamloops Saints Football team will receive $1500 to be used for helmets ($500) and subsidies ($1000) for youth who may not be able to afford to play.
Sports Dream Fund will receive $2500 to assist children and youth living in low-income families to participate in community sports.
Wai Hung Ma will receive $500 to assist him in his 'Bullying' presentation to grade 6 & 7 students in SD 73.
If you know of an organization who could benefit from gaming funds download the application from the website and encourage them to apply. We still have lots of money to distribute!
Interact Valentine's Gala - February 7
This semi-formal event will be held at the Henry Grube Centre, beginning at 6:30pm. Tickets are $20 / person. FMI: Chantelle Wilkinson at 828-0891.
Sofia's Update
Sofia is with Kathy and family for the week and loving it! She was at McQueen Lake, walking on the ice (playing "hockey") and wants to try skating . . . that was expected to happen on Tuesday night. We hope all went well!
